This and that and more...
We´re not too happy to announce that our show at Debaser Slussen
in Stockholm, with The Romantics, on the 20th of April
has been cancelled.
Yup, it´s sad but then again – this makes us look forward to our
show at Henriksberg in Gothenburg this Saturday(that´s on the 17th by the way) even more!
On a slightly different note we´re also very excited about
the amount of great radio play that we´ve had recently in Germany.
Hopefully this will mean that we´ll be back in Germany soon!

Christmas shows!
Hello friends in Germany! Christmas comes early this year, when The Doits hops a plane to do 2 shows. First of we do Hamburg at Atelier Villenlos (ex-beat-club) friday 18/12. Then we go to Osnabrück to play the FIEBER years end party, with bands like BOOZED and FLAMING SIDEBURNS. The party is at Kleine Freiheit on saturday 19/12. What more could you ever want for christmas? And if your lucky we will bring some of that swedish snow to get the right spirit! Marry x-mas folks!

THIRD TIMES A CHARM
Hey folks! Tomorrow we are heading of to the studio to record our third album! We are ofcours verry exited and hope that you are to. Studio booked!
Hello folks! We have now booked time to record the next album. It will be done in september/october, again with Christoffer Lundquist at Aerosol Grey Machine. We have spent some time recording demos at our good friend David Salins studio, and it sounds great. So you have the right to build up some big expectations for the next album by The Doits. This means that we wont do that many shows untill the album is out, but we might pop up in your town for a quickie if your lucky! We have not decided how we will release it, but we are shopping around for labels in all the countrys of Europe, so this time it will be available to you all. With short notise we have decided to play a show in the good old town of Stockholm. Its at a bar caled ROQ, Gyldéngatan 2 (T-bana Odenplan). We are guests at Satan Takes A Holiday´s release party. We are now confirmed to play the Hultsfred festival 14-16/6. www.rockparty.se Other good stuff to see there will be Rocky Erickson, Pet Shop Boys, Amy Winehouse, Ozzy, Sahara Hotnights, Shout Out Louds, Gorilla Biscuits and more. 01-02 of june we play at the RE:PUBLIK festival in Stockholm. It takes place at Universitetet, and will replace Popaganda. Hey there! To kick of this year we have been recording some new songs with Adam Stark (Motorhomes, The Slaves). It will probably be released as a 5 track EP in March. We have 3 shows in february 9/2 in Linköping @ Skylten, 10/2 in Lund @ Mejeriet and 21/2 in Uppsala @ Norrlands Nation. In June we have plans on some shows in Finland, witch will be a blast. More on that later on. We are also happy to reveal that we will play the PEACE & LOVE Festival in Borlänge 26-30 June, along with The Stooges, Babyshambles, Sahara Hotnights, The Ark, Hanoi Rocks and more. SWEDISH TV-SHOW AND THE NEW VIDEO
If you live in sweden be sure to check out TV4 Nyhetsmorgon on november 13th. We will play live in the studio and what ever it is bands do there(its early in the morning so we hardly knows what its like). We will post time and links to where you can see it on the web later. CHECK OUT THE NEW VIDEO! In the media section(it got a bit fucked up when loading it up) So what happend on tour? Well we had a good time and some good shows. We met snuffed by the yakuza in Freiburg, and had a blast roaming the local bars. Thanks to Thea for showing us around. A day of was spent in Darmstadt with our good friends Holger & Nicole. Chemnitz was greate as usual. Day of in Munich was spent drinking and clubing. Thanks to Olivia and Katharina for giving us a place to stay.Varel was a small town in the north of germany. The show was packed and good fun. But the mood changed when our roadie found a guy braking in to our van. After some time and Tero showing the idiot his fists close up, we got our carkeys back. Crossover Rocktober in Den Helder was about the most fun we ever had. WHAT A PARTY! I could go on and on about all the good nights and nice people we met on the tour, but enough is enough. THE DOITS ARE COMING HOME!
20-22 july. The Doits are playing Trästockfestivalen in there home town Skellefteå, along fine acts like Randy, Entombed, The Slaves, I´m from Barcelona, Vapnet, Atomic Swing, Mattias Alkberg BD, Deportees, Deltahead, Totalt jävla mörker and many more. The scedual has not yet been set, but we will post the info with day and time for this show as soon as we know. On Saturday 17 Altay and Anders will play a short acoustic set around 14.30 at DENIMZINE´S tent at the Hultsfredfestival. See ya all and have fun in the sun! New site, New album, New smell!
Hey all good people! We got a brand new site and a brand new webmaster!(robert). We would like to thank Johan Ullman for all the work on the old one. The new album, Lost Lonely & Vicious will be out on the 9th of jun in Scandinavia and the 16th in the rest of europe. The first singel "Take you out" is out now, and you can see a preview of the video here: www.mtve.com If you are living in Stockholm, you can listen to us play live on "106,7 Rock klassiker" may 30. 07.30 (thats in the early early early morning). The lucky people of stockholm also get to see us play with our label mates and good friends Captain Murphy at Debaser on june 6 (swedish nationalday).
